I suppose that it was caused by outdated PHP or some plugin vulnerability. Somehow, hackers / bots were able to install a plugin, that redirected all URLs on the site to porn. I was able to find that plugin, delete it and later update all plugins, PHP and core Wordpress files as well as install some firewall.
