Founded in 1864, Pete s Tavern is one of the oldest restaurants in New York City. Its menu includes fried coconut shrimp, grilled calamari, steamed mussels, Buffalo chicken wings, shrimp cocktail, chicken Parmigiana, veal meatballs, grilled pork chops and chopped sirloin steak. Love the new name. Not sure who came up with the old name "The Mixing Bowl" for a restaurant, but it doesn't scream bar/tavern/live music. Pete's is perfect name for the place.
