I had a motor shipped to me but it was a ka24de and in the receipt it stated the motor weighing 450 and that was minus the tranny but with all accessories. Not to sure about the ka24e. Iguess you also have to put in account the weight of the pallet but that cant weigh more then 30-35 pounds.. The KA24DE engine is very similar to the KA24E, but you will find a few fundamental differences that separate these kinds of engines. The only major change is the cylinder head design.
