However, the olives from the additional vegetables made the manousheh a bit too salty. Everything else -- the thyme and cheese -- was so fresh and pure tasting! The food is filling and definitely not just for breakfast. I had the cocktail manousheh, which is flatbread with cheese and zaatar (a thyme spice blend), and a kafta manousheh, which is a lamb roll flatbread. They smell delicious, just like pizza! The bake their own bread in a brick oven! Both were delicious but the kafta manousheh was a bit dry. The food and service are nearly unbeatable. The first time I tried Manousheh Grand, I came for happy hour and got a mini kishek manousheh and the fatayer in a 2-for-1 deal for just $3. They truly hit the spot--and even my toddler was a fan! The second time, I dragged my husband so I could try more dishes.
